This whimsical little village is inspired by a passage from Psalms 125:2: "God surrounds his people, both now and forever."
The painted papers used in the collage are items my family used during our time in quarantine. This piece was created with faith that we are surrounded by love and hope for a more colorful, vibrant, connected season ahead.
ORIGINAL MATERIALS:
Various spiritual texts, handwritten notes, recipe clippings, vintage sheet music, children's book excerpts, crossword puzzles, and board game instructions were used in this piece.
